The Competitiveness Office of Abu Dhabi (COAD) was established to achieve the highest levels of competitiveness in the emirate by creating a diverse and sustainable environment that enables the emirate's businesses and companies to achieve the best results in the field of productivity.
COAD helps create an economic environment that stimulates innovation and initiative, which encourages investment and the success of economic projects in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
COAD aims to improve the competitiveness indicators of the emirate in light of the global competitiveness indicators through coordination with various governmental and private agencies to develop and facilitate the business environment, monitor the performance of competitiveness, and submit the necessary proposals to develop competitive thinking.
It also works in cooperation with partners to prepare studies specialised in competitiveness to enhance the competitive environment by developing action plans with specific targets, developing policies and competitiveness initiatives to support economic development, encourage innovation, enhance overall livability and talent attraction in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
