Overview
The patent relates to a system that keeps an eye on crowds and manages their behavior. It has cameras watching the crowd, a memory for storing instructions, and a processor that follows those instructions. The processor gets the instructions from the memory and uses them to: get video from the cameras, figure out how people in the crowd are feeling based on how they move and sound, sort these feelings into categories using colors, and show a live map of the crowd's feelings on a screen.
Benefits
There is an evident need for an improved system and computer-implemented method for monitoring and controlling crowd behaviour, that not only recognizes emotions from a range of indicators, including body language and audio signals but also categorizes these emotions in a manner that is instantly comprehensible and actionable for crowd management purposes.
